Question:

Are we attacking community organizers now?

I watched VP Palin's speech last night, and she attacked Obama by saying community organizers do not have any real responsbilities. Isn't she attacking her base as well by making such a comment? Not that she would lose any evangelical voters as a result. I think more evangelicals would vote for her because she goes to church, then women who would vote for her because she is a woman. Already I can tell that this election will become an election of ideologies (again), and not the issues. I am just curious if her comment will become an issue because a lot of community organizers, especially in small towns like mine, come from churches, schools, or the YMCA; not the government. And isn't the PTA a community organization itself? If that's correct then she attacked herself.

  1. I think that was actually a direct slam at Nobama.

  2. That's what happens when you read a speech prepared by Bush speechwriters: it makes no sense, and you end up shooting yourself.

  3. No she's a fool. As a community organizer on the Southside, Barrack Obama had to get people to agree with him. He didn't have the power of the government to compel people to do things his way. She wouldn't last 5 minutes on the Southside. she'd have to swim through shark infested waters. How about this: Negotiating with hostile world leaders - Farrakhan:  Urban terrorist - Vice Lords and the Disciples  Legitimate world leaders - Mayor Daley. There have been probably as many people killed in Chicago as have been killed in Iraq. Being white is not an excuse. Father Pflegler adopted three black children. Because of his anti gang activity, the gangs killed his son. he's leading the Stop the Violence campaign. If you see her, tell her we have positions open for a community organizer trainee on the Southside.

  4. No, "we" are not attacking community organizers. Palin was comparing the work and actual decision making a community organizer has to do against what a state governor has to do and the responsiblities each position has. It wasn't an attack at all.

  5. A community organizer in Chicago is not a PTA member.  They are radical leftists who want to move our country toward Marxism by stealth.  Google "Gamaliel Foundation" or "Saul Alinsky" if you truly want to understand what Palin was talking about.

  6. YMCA and churches are not community organizers.

  7. I'm on the PTA, and not qualified to be VP for our country, let alone the President of our country. That's the point!!

It been said "it takes a village" and I believe that.

We all work together to advance our community.

But you can not follow the "village idiot=Obama" to the white house and not question his qualifications.

  8. Obama's lack of experience is an issue, how can anyone say it isn't.

  9. Are we attacking community organizers now?

No silly, we are attacking ex-community organizers who rant change change , when they havent actually changed anything....
