  1. Yes.  A barrage of culture has this effect.

  2. YES

  3. Wouldn't that be not believing in ones self?

  4. I dont actually ignore the strength of my imagination or dreams, however, i kind of live in them sometimes, "like an imaginative reality". But, i do kinda know where you are coming from, because where life and society can be all rules, regulations and routine, is this blocking our real imaginative thoughts from becoming anything? If we were allowed to live for a few days with nothing else to think about but our imagination, dreams and wishes, then would we be more inspired and spiritual as a person? I think we would...

  5. yeah schools have tried to drum the imagination out of the children of the world. they have succeeded in most children. we try to put everything in boxes, we allow children to grow up to fast. and dreamers are considered odd and to be one is to be disliked. people tend to avoid being disliked and will conform to fit. in doing so many people lose themselves and are unhappy the rest of their lives. true freedom is never believing that you can't. to have that trust in the world that nothing is impossible. the most horrible thing i have ever seen is  coloring books that make you color the sky blue and the grass green. that takes away the creativity and choice of all children. as a child i was made fun of for my green skies and purple grass. so for many years i just would make sheets of black crayon saying that i drew a picture. the only concession i have ever made to conformity is that i wear blue jeans.any other choice was made because i wanted to and i did what i felt like not because it was expected of me or i was pressured. i was the child that no teacher wanted because i would not sit and listen to their drivel and lies. there was life out there outside those windows and dreams to be dreamed. school can teach you nothing that life cannot. but sadly school has been made necessary by society and we are forced sometimes to live by societies rules. unless we want to lose all freedom. i cannot abide doors that i cannot open and windows that have bars. so i follow them by choice. not because i have to.
