Heres what I think.

Guys and Girls have basic sterotypes

GUYS GIRLS

Masucline Femine

Aggresive Passive

Leader Follower/Companion

Strong Frail

Bread Winner Break Baker

So on And So on

But i know that everyone here know someone who fits outside of the mold of those sterotype I.E

Girls who is strong

Guy who is passive

Guy who is weak

Girl who is a bread winner

So couldnt mental trait be passed on just like physcical traits.

I know you heard someone say something like " O your addittueb from your mother." even if you were raised by both of your parents ( or by the father without the additude) you would still develop that trait.

Couldnt that be said about sexually preferances?

Boy like boys cause mommy likes boys?

What are your thoughts?

  1. I honestly think it comes from your environment and who your friends are, i think that if you grew up around all g*y people then you might lean towards men as your sexual preference but im not saying that if you do that classifies you as being g*y

  2. I don't think children see their mothers as sexual beings who desire men, and even if they did a woman can't truly be a role model for him as a g*y man, if nothing else where would tops come from? (not that bottoms are really being feminine either, obviously the prostate is a male organ)

If anything I think very heterosexually aggressive women and "cougars" are sort of copying g*y men, consciously or otherwise. We've always aggressively gone after handsome young men, for a woman to do the same seems a bit masculine to me (not that there's anything wrong with that)

I think the important thing with this type of thinking is that you use bisexuality or asexuality and androgyny as your starting point, if homosexuality has to be explained then so does heterosexuality.

  3. No, I really don't believe that sexual preferances can be passed on. Although, I do believe that everybody is at least a little bit g*y, or bisexual if you will.

  4. psh. i'm strong AND straight.

    when i was little i didn't like girls. i wasn't g*y.

    your theory sucks.

  5. Homosexuality is probably genetically based -- as we gain a greater understanding of epigenetics I think that is becoming more likely by the study (pun intended).

However, those stereotypes are incorrect to start with, I know frail straight boys and strong straight girls.  I know straight female bread bakers and so on.

The point is -- those things have NOTHING to do with sexual preference.  Sexual preference is clearly there from the beginning.  It can be difficult for some to express because of the oppression of g**s and because of the religious opposition by certain repressive religions -- but nevertheless it is always there.  I can't tell you how many g*y people I've known who said "I always knew, but I kept trying to be straight you know... what would people think?"

People who are g*y are g*y -- it doesn't matter why.  The same is true for those who are straight.  Everyone love one another, things work out better that way.

    Kind thoughts,

    Hermes

  6. maybe, but you are born g*y, how your born g*y is still unclear.

  7. Personally, I think that everyone is born with potential to be a certain way, and it depends on how those potential traits mold... The environment, friends, and the way you're raised makes a difference.

  8. Scientific researchers specializing in human sexuality have shown that homosexuality is genetic. Since people are born with certain genes, people are born with their sexual orientation. Some people are born g*y.

Scientific research publications from October 2004 and June 2008 stated that scientists have found that women tend to have more children when they inherit the same genetic factors linked to homosexuality in men. This fertility boost more than compensates for the lack of offspring fathered by g*y men, and keeps the “gay” genetic factors in circulation.

A 2005 study reported genetic scans showing a clustering of the same genetic pattern among g*y men on three chromosomes - chromosomes 7, 8, and 10. The regions on chromosome 7 and 8 were associated with male sexual orientation regardless of whether the man got them from his mother or father. The regions on chromosome 10 were only associated with male sexual orientation if they were inherited from the mother.

A study from 2006 said that researchers have known for years that a man's likelihood of being g*y rises with the number of older biological brothers, but the new study found that the so-called "fraternal birth order effect" persists even if g*y men were raised away from their biological families & that "the research suggests that the development of sexual orientation is influenced before birth."

  9. I think that of the many traits we do inherit from our parents, friends, and everyone else instrumental in raising us, sexuality is not one of them.  Just as heterosexual relationships can produce hetero-, bi-, trans-, and homosexual children, so can any variety of "alternative lifestyle."  We do learn by example, but we don't learn how or who to love in this way.

  10. nobody borns g*y,that's a complete lie and a total excuse to our mentality..

  11. i definetly think that your born being g*y, i certainly didn't choose it, believe me, life would be a lot easier if i were straight!

  12. No, I don't think babies are born g*y. I've worked in day care, infant care, foster care, for over 20 years and I haven't met any g*y kids yet or bi. I think it's a choice that people make when they are older.

  13. Perhaps.

That's actually a very interesting new view on things, not the traditional "you're a GUY who likes GUYS", instead, you're just an individual who likes guys. And that's why whether you're g*y or straight doesn't matter.

  14. Preposterous!

The world does not need another voice attempting to establish stereotypes, thank you very much.

In your question, you have managed to insult g*y and L*****n people As Well As straight people  - you are to be congratulated for being a butt-hole about virtually everybody.

  15. BORN g*y? Nobody is born g*y, no one is born with a magical potion inside them that makes them g*y. They BECOME g*y. Brutal truth.
