  1. I don't think so.:D they're like gentle s*x,so we shouldn't give them guns, don't you think so? :D  When they grow up they will judge you for not letting them to try playing with dolls(living like young girls should) ...Let them dream as long as they can..

  2. No

  3. ALL children play with dolls. When boys play with them, they are called "action figures".

If you limit your child to ANYTHING, it is damaging.

    Everything in moderation.

  4. No.  What's wrong with pink dresses and dolls?  I think it's far more damaging to be dressing them at the age of 5 in short halter tops and mini skirts!  There's nothing wrong with girls being 'girly'.  My mom gave me dolls... I wasn't really interested but they were there.  I spent more time in the sandbox with my brothers.  But dolls aren't going to harm a girl.

  5. I hope not else my daughter Kylie will be really damanged ...shes playing with dolls now and has a pink dress on !

  6. No.  But I think it's equally important to provide them with trucks and other things to play with.  Just as I think boys should be allowed to play with dolls.

I don't think that the colour of their clothes will affect them.  When they are old enough, they can choose to wear pink or not.

  7. Y?? i mean possibly if that ALL you put her in is pink and she can ONLY play with dolls... they shouldn't be limited to girls can't play with boy toys or boys cant play with stuff for girls... if you drill into them what they must be like and what they have to play with then yeah ur hurting ur daughter

  8. Yes, they will need intense therapy for the rest of their lives!!!!!

    (what a question!!!!)

  9. i would worry more if your dressing your son in pink and he like playing with dolls

  10. not per say its when we dont balance it out that the damage is done, a color in itself is not damanging, nor is an object like a dol

its the constant fuzzing of blowing pink up and frills and fuzzing with the hair, making them think its needed to be a pretty little prinsess, and expecting them to all the time only being playing with pretty dolls etc that runs them into the stereotype box which dont mentaly prepare them for a gender neutral world cause on the other hand they aint balanced out to deal with the other half

the constant "no no pretty lil girl dont play in the dirt, your dress will get ruined etc"

its the added stimuli around it who do it all

and its done to boys as well

also gender tests arent gender neutral, to conduct real sterille tests of such a maner the kids would have to been raised in gender neutral enviroment from day one without influence of parents and sorounding society, hence so called test on babies or kids on preferences isnt posible to do because you cant provide a sterille non influencing enviroment over time. Hence you cant say its inborn and enviroment hadnt affected them already, the stereotyping of kids start at day 1 already, so i would be carefull laying to much weigth on such tests, people send a lot of subconsious body languages and signs, and to a lot of subconsious choises when it comes to interacting with eachother that the parents may not been aware of doing. Hence a proper test to be conducted would have needed to be in void of human contact, to avoid any and all influence, and there just is no parent or goverment who is going to allow the stagement of such a test, hence it will be an unanswered question.

On something like say wolfchildren, the litterature there if its belivable indicate that the children was unable to ever catch up with the other kids of their own age, that in fact their sences and whatnot in and for itself had totaly changed, and the influence of enviroment had developed them with influence as such in even a physical way. If we are to belive these documentations to be true, then that at least would prove the power of enviromental influence onto a beeing. Animal tests conducted on something like fox's has shown that domesticating them actualy changed both behaviour and looks over time as they were breed. Hence claiming that we got it all from non sterille tests conducted over generations, just aintreliable. For all you know 'selection' through different races or classes who been seperated can even have lead to different preferences on this subject, because spicies have a tendancy to develop in a way that they best can fit in and survive in the enviroment they live under, and their ability to do well is partial to selection.

Hence any tests they run are totaly irrelevant because there is so much noise conected to them there is no way they can gain a high enough security to estimate a likely conclusion with the testing methods avaliable within the law.

  11. How so?

  12. YOu are just stupid!!! How the h**l are we going to damage our daughter by dressing them in pink? huh?

  13. No - I have a boy and a girl.

I always asked them what toys or clothes they want.

She wanted dolls, he wanted cars.

    She wanted pink dresses.

You may be suprised at girls mothering instincts - it is natural for them to cuddle baby dolls.

I think it would be cruel for me to not let her dress the way she wants or have a doll to cuddle.

They also play with each others toys too but prefer their own.

If you force your girl to wear trousers and play with boys toys don't be suprised if she thinks you wanted a boy not a girl, has a complex and becomes a L*****n - nothing wrong with lesbians - as long as it is their choice and not yours!!!!

  14. how would that damage them?

    your dressing them thats good

and dolls are a good thing for a child to play with girls and boys alike.

its teaches them responsibility because lots of times they look at that doll as their baby and they care for it and what not.

  15. absolutely not. i read an article on that the a week or 2 ago i wish i could give you the link.......no matter what color you dress your children in or toys you give them, girls are naturally going to be inclined to do things like play house and be mothers... and boys are going to like to bash things and play with trucks, and the like. these are inborn things, NOT learned behavior.

  16. no , they are little girls

  17. I can see what you're getting at. I don't think so though. We're having a girl in November and it's fairies all the way! If she decides she likes blue and trucks, etc then that's great too. I'm pretty sure her daddy will get her into cars and things anyway!

  18. how is that damaging your daughter i bet every girl in the world had a baby doll at some point in their life
