Are we dating? i'm confused.?

its one of those cases where the whole "asking out" thing isn't offical. i've been seeing a guy for about a month, and we're really close. we talk all day and try to see each other whenever we can.

but sometimes we'll be talking about things, like my friends, and how i don't like some of them, and he mentioned that he was my friend and that he was a good one. i guess i'm a little confused.

he likes me alot and i know it, like BEYOND likes me even, because he always has to have contact with me even though he just left for college a few days ago, he wants everything to stay the same.

how do i go about asking him about the dating thing? and why wouldn't we be dating anyways if he's so into me? i don't get it.

spend less time with him, if you want him to ask you out.

if he's already see you 24/7 why would he bother to ask you out or anything.

He likes you so much that he doesn't even bother asking you out.  He spends a lot of time with you so he's already satisfied with all the times you guys are together. So he may think why even bother asking you out because he's already around you 24/7.

Maybe he's not ready and wants to take it slow.  And wouldnt you rather take it slow and not just jump into it?  I know if I were you I would be happy to have him as my good friend and know that we are getting to know each other and there is always a possibility of us being more because we are building a strong foundation.
