  1. No.

I thought the same thing. It isn't fertilized, so technically, it is...a chicken period. Yum...

And we're not murderers; chickens need to lay eggs. They have 'vegetarian' eggs if you aren't comfortable with that, though.

  2. kind of. well it isnt a chicken yet. but you did kind of eat a unborn baby chicken so from here i think it is your desition if it is or isnt a baby chicken.

  3. the eggs we eat r pasturized, they were not meant to have eggs hatched frm. They were made for consuming purposes.

  4. No since the eggs are fertilized, they could never be born or be a chicken.

  5. Well it depends on whether the egg was fertilized or not. But that makes no difference to a veg@n anyway.

  6. The eggs that you buy from stores are more like chicken periods rather than chicken babies. They are unfertilized like again, human female eggs that are expelled if they are not fertilized aftre a time. Egg fams in general do not have roosters to fertilize the eggs

For some peole though, the thought of eating "periods" is enough to get them off eggs.

  7. You are not eating a chicken, you are eating an egg. The chicken serves both purposes. Stop thinking about a live ck and think about putting some cheese on the egg.

  8. no no no. in order for an egg to become a baby chick, a chicken AND a rooster have to produce it. chickens lay eggs all the time without the help from a rooster, and those are the ones we eat. my friend has chickens and they lay eggs, they are good.

  9. no, the eggs we are eating are unfertilized, which means they havent even started the baby chicken making yet.

  10. No, you're not a murderer for eating an egg, but the dairy/egg industries are so closely tied with the meat industry that I wouldn't consider it a stretch. Hens raised for eggs are sent off to become meat when they cannot give eggs anymore. Same with dairy cows, except worse. They are forced to give birth in order to lactate, and their male offspring are often sent to veal farms.

  11. The egg is not fertilized therefore there is no baby chicken.

  12. The eggs you buy in the store are not fertilized. They are just the chickens period.
