Are we experiencing some type of baby boomlet?

seems to me like more and more women are either pregnant or just had a baby. think about celebrities, every tabloid has some story about a new baby or mother to be. i know during my pregnancy of 6 other women who had a baby within in a 2 week span (my son is 4 months old) and now 3 of my family members are expecting. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the trend?

Yeah that is funny.  Actually, in my playgroup, after I got pregnant with my second baby, it seemed like every other mom started getting pregnant with a second baby.  In some months, there were two or three moms having a new baby.  Now my son is 16 months old, and our playgroup baby boom is almost over - there are only 3 moms left pregnant.  I can now count on one hand the moms in the group who still only have one child  :)
