Shortly after McKane visited the loony bin at Liberty Univerrsity his political campaign fell off the face of the planet. Are will finally learning that these religious fanatics have no place in our governemnt or our society. One of these crackpots recently called me an infindle. Now there is a fine example of fourteenth century thinking.

I think a lot of people don't understand the reason for the separation of church and state.  When our country was founded,  a lot of people still remembered the religious persecutions which happened in Europe. So eighteenth century thinking may have offered a better protection against religious excess than twenty-first century thinking.
