  1. The short answer is yes.  The next question is, how do we stop or but the money that goes tot eh oil companies.


  2. No, government is taking too much tax money. The government does subsidies the oil companies but, the gov. also imposes many restrictions and fees that you will not hear about in the news.

    All you libs complain about the oil companies ripping you off, but in every gallon of gasoline sold are an average 65 cents a gallon taxes. Now the evil oil companies are making an average  9-12 cents a gallon profit and the government makes 55 cents gallon profit for doing nothing. So if EXXON is making 50 billion in profits then the government is making 4 1/2 times that much or 225 billion, and they don't even do the work. So of you wanna talk price gouging, then talk to the Federal and State government.
