me and my best friend have been friends for only 1 year but we are so close. We know everything about each other (and i mean everything!!!)

and we have a lot in common. But after a year i had to move to another city. We talk on the phone 2 hours a week, and we meet twice a month.

ARE WE GOING TO BE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER?!?!?

  1. If you keep talking to her and meeting her, you COULD be BFF!!!!!!!!

  2. um, actually this happened to me, and to be quite frank, i think me and my pal have drifted apart, quite unintentionally, but we still hav...long distance frndshps need a LOT, and i mean a LOT of work to succeed...if you want it to work out between you both hard enough, it will.

  3. You certainly could be.  Best friends are few and far between.  But any friendship is like a job.  You haven't to work really hard at it, respect it. and take care of it.  Always keep the communication  between the two of you open and honest.  Be true to each other and good luck to the two of you.

  4. Well...i had the same thought when i passed out of school. None of us friends were in the same college n i had to move to another city, and met ..like..once in five-six months or so. It has been five years since then and guess what...we are still close friends. Each of us do have other set of friends, colleagues n all...but we are the closest pals.

So don't fret much over this...if the two of you are so close, i don't see why you can't be friends forever, wherever may u live. Cherish each moment of your friendship n let everything else go....

    God bless you...

  5. it only depends on how you handle the situation...i have a friend who lives in galveston, im in houston and we still talk a lot and we hang out when we can.  just keep in touch...that always helps.

  6. i met one of my best friends because our beach houses were next door to each other..2 years ago she sold her beach house and so i don't get to see her that much but we still email and are still really good friends...and we don't talk 2 hours a week or see each other twice a month..so i think it definitely could work

  7. probably not especially if you are still in school. Its just how it works though its not because you moved or anything. Things are going to be different but you can still be close.

  8. You will be best friends forever because it sounds like you are constantly talking and keeping in touch with each other.  Plan on going to college and rooming together when you graduate from high school, that way you will really be best friends forever!  Good luck!

  9. There is no way to tell the future, but you two may remain friends forever and you and she may go on to have other best and otherwise friends as well. Take it day by day, and enjoy the present time with her.
