Are we gonna die from global warming?

Not likely, if you're in a developed country.  The people at risk are those in very poor countries, already struggling to feed themselves.  There, damage to agriculture by global warming will cause some people to starve to death.

The risk to you is that global warming will cause enough economic damage to make you poor.  You won't die, but life will not be as good as it is today.

Unless we take steps to reduce it.  Then your life won't change so much.

No one really knows.  It's possible, but probably not likely if you live in a developed country.

What's more likely is that we'll go through hard times, with high food prices, water shortages, high gas prices, high electricity prices and high costs for other goods. There may be riots and wars.

There will be severe unrest and deaths in the poorest developing nations if they can't raise enough food to feed their population.  But they've known that for over 20 years already, so hopefully they're getting a handle on their birth rates by now.

We all die, so that's no big deal, but I would prefer not to suffer for years before that finally happens.  Hopefully we can convince developing nations to spare themselves the worst of the effects by limiting their rapid, carbon-intensive growth.

First off, everyone dies, from old age to car accidents, People die every day.

Secondly, why do people think that the ice caps are melting and that we're all gonna die? They said we were gonna die when they saw the hole in the ozone,what they forgot to mention was that it kept closing back up.

Well, they say that we will feel severe changes in the weather by 2030.  If you live in the U.S, it won't be as bad.  But, the closer you are to the equator, the worse the symptoms will be.  you won't die, unless your area runs out of water.
