Question:

Are we having a total solar eclipse tomorrow....Friday ?

I thought I read this and was just wondering for sure if we were :)

  1. Yes, but most of the U.S. won't be able to see it unfortunately.

    The solar eclipse that takes place on August 1, 2008 will be a total eclipse of the Sun with a magnitude of 1.039 that will be visible from a narrow corridor through northern Canada (Nunavut), central Russia, western Mongolia, India and China. It belongs to the so-called midnight sun eclipses, as it will be visible from regions experiencing midnight sun.


  2. 8-1-08 can't be seen from the USA.

    Dont bother with the glasses because you cant see it anyway.  Those glasses are not good by the way.
