  1. haha, from now on, although i'm not a fan or the U.S or the Chineese,

U.S I wouldn't say is going down, but they are being taken over by China.

China is gonna rule the world

  2. jeez, who knows.

with all the mixed information nowadays, i'm not even sure what to believe anymore. everything is just too misleading. the president says "we're fine, we'll get out of it" meanwhile the new york stock exchange is having a hard time just getting out of bed.

    =[

  3. we are goin down recession then every one is going to be depressed

  4. I am very worried about this. We need to really give some thought for the next president. No, I don't feel safe.

  5. it's goind down

China will rule the world from now on

  6. we're fine but we'll slowly get out of it did you knwo we were headed for one in 1986 also? yep and we made it ok you see it works like this once they get a word of it they start working to head it off and yes its abit steep right now but we'll be ok take care.

  7. I think an eventual depression.  I do temp staffing for surgeons for my career.  Thousands of surgeons are losing jobs because of the economy, less people are spending money on gas, or vacations, or any activities... so, less people are getting hurt.  This is mostly hurting orthopedic surgeons because less people are getting broken bones.  I'm not saying more people need to get hurt, it's just really bad when even dr's are struggling because of the economy.

  8. with the kind of govt we have ,dude theres no telling what the h**l is going to happen.

  9. This is nowhere near as bad as it was in the late 70's and early 80's. There was double digit inflation and interest rates were 18% for homes. The economy goes in cycles. Most of this is energy related, so we can control it if we just drill our own oil, find ways to conserve energy, use alternate sources and develop new ways to fuel what we need. Ride it out by spending less and saving even if it's just a little bit. We'll be fine.

  10. we are in a recession... headed for depression... in case you havent noticed all the job losses and people losing their homes and that they are not spending as much as they used to and businesses and stores are going out of business.. that is Recession.

  11. depends on how safe you think you are!

    were you safe on 9/11?

this is not a threat...just an answer!

  12. The National Bureau of Economics defines a recession as "a significant decline in economic activity spread across the economy, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP, real income, employment, industrial production, and wholesale-retail sales."

Generally this means if there are 2 months of economic decline, they call a recession.

A depression does not have a definition, but the Great Depression culminated as the result of many problems that were not known to be a problem (including some in other countries).  Many of these have been fixed since then and most think it's not possible for the U.S. to enter a depression again.

But nothing's impossible.  If economists were caught off guard last time, there's nothing to stop it from happening again.

  13. pretty much

things are getting worse and worse.

dont let gas prices falling a little make you think otherwise.

    seriously, tough times lie ahead.

but i figure, when bush gets out of office, whoever gets in there will either make things better or worse! so we'll see!

  14. probably and maybe?  freaky though huh?  become as self sufficient as possible.

  15. were all gonna die in couple of years be ready it might me from wars or earthqukes

  16. see ive been telling everyone.. i feel we are in a recession as of right now. and if things do not get any better SOON. we will be in a depression!

  17. we are in recession would be heading for depression but i think we may be ok

  18. let me put it this way. America is asking for world war 3, and we all know the u.s is slowly falling.

thats just my opinion..but i think its true.

  19. you people are headed for calamity. good luck!
