Are we here to waste time ----spiritually?

Question

Is R & S a place to come to so we can waste time or do you think that there is a good spiritual or practical reason that we are all here?

It doesn't matter what religion you are or are not, do you think that what we share with each other here is a joke or a good thing?

Personally, I do believe that we were all put on this earth for a purpose.  However, you really won't know what your purpose is until you develop a spiritual and intimate relationship with God.  Once you do that then you'll be able to sincerely pray and ask God for direction, guidance and to reveal and help you understand your purpose in life.

I take R&S 'lightly,' but I'm ALWAYS 'learning!'

For a few of us who are JWs, this IS our ministry since we cannot go from door to door. (Do to infirmities.)

Don't knock it. I have best answers on file from grateful people who's questions got life changing answers.

I do not think it is wastage of time.

I think, it is a good place to share your knowledge with others, though it depends on you, what type of questions you are answering and what type of questions you are asking.

R & S is a place people from different religions and spiritualities can come together and talk, share, and debate their experiences with their religions and spiritualities.

I'm usually here when I'm on call or waiting for patients at my job.. it is a time passerbyer.

But I do look for serious questions that do want answers, although they are extremely hard to find at times.
