We cannot possible know for sure at the moment.  Anyone who gives you a definite answer is purely speculating.  Nobody can argue that the economy is slow right now.  But we must have 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth to officially be labeled as a recession.

Recessions are typically not fully understood until about 6-8 years after that economic period.

Look at the big picture........If you cannot see it for what it is then you're totally blindsided.

The economy is great until it personally effects you.
