Question:

Are we limited by what we can observe?

Quantum mechanic's many-worlds interpretation says every possible outcome to every event can exist in its own "world". I can imagine the possible outcome of an event and observe it. Unfortunately, the reality that I imagine is subjective and cannot be observed by others. So if not everyone can observe the outcome of an event are people limited by this?

Does our universe/reality confine us to only observe what is within it?

  1. Simple Answer: Yes.

Since our soul and physical self can exist ONLY in one plane then we ARE part of the event and therefore are UNABLE to observe it from an external medium.

  2. Only if what you seek stays within the confines of the world.  There is peripheral vision for those who seek a greater knowledge of the eminent picture.  One can, not only see that which is beyond this hemisphere, but be lifted to a higher and different dimension in life.  You can, if you so challenge yourself above and beyond.

  3. Seeing with your imagination is not a sense act. I can envision unicorns and so can you. But that doesn't mean they exist. But senses can be fooled. Quantum show us that what we see is all a matter of our own individualized interpretation. The pure act of seeing alters the reality of the thing being seen

  4. Observation is experience and it changes our aptitude from time to time.

Although it limits our Vision, we always prefer to go by maximum theory.

Our senses limit us to this Worldly vision only but we have heard and seen people perform the inevitable.

    So Saints are three dimensional.

  5. Limited, yes, but only in part.

A horse, a narwhale, and a zebra, each seen, may be combined in eye-magination as striped unicorn.

From the latter envisioning, one may develop a concept.  That concept in turn may become part of a theory, and so on.

"The Masters and Their Retreats" and "The Path of the Higher Self," Mark Prophet, show how seeing is one type of in-telling, intelligence, and loving and faithfulness are yet others.

"Psychoenergetic Science," Dr. William A. Tiller, http://www.tiller.org shows how awareness coherency, i.e. trained meditation, influences quantum systems.

  6. If a tree falls in the woods, and you are the only person that sees it, does it exist? If you say yes, than the things that you imagine and the events that you imagine are just as empirically sound as anything else. If, however, you believe that there must be multiple witnesses to any event, cosmic or earthly, than the answer is no.

"Does our universe/reality confine us to only observe what is within it?"

This is kind of a strange question, because by definition that which is real, that is, reality, contains everything without exemption. How can one observe something outside of reality? Even dreams are contained within reality - it is something of a misnomer when people say "well, in reality, it's like this," even though we hear that all of the time. So to answer your question, reality does confine us to what we observe withint it, but remember that reality contains all things, so one cannot even imagine something apart from reality.
