Are we losing yet more dominion over our own minds and bodies? Is Evil winning?

The Government has tabled a bill, namely Bill C-51, to be voted on by members of parliament and thus enacted into law. It is touted as being "for our own protection". This will effectively remove as much as 60% of health foods, health supplements and vitamins from our shelves while eliminating small companies who produce and market them, thereby restricting and potentially redefining self-care for wellness as illegal in this country. This will effectively put more dollars into the coffers of pharmaceutical corporations, sales people for these companies who are disguised as medical practitioners, and all other entities who earn generous financial compensations from the sick & dying.

Are we being further enslaved as mere life support systems whose only purpose is to support greed and utter disregard for human life?

If you look at where the health of the world is today as compared to early man, we have not progressed but have steadily degenerated into accepting diseases that "cannot be cured" as common place and that the only way to solve that problem is to spend more money on so called "scientific studies" that are nothing more than scams, in many cases, to promote a particular agenda of a large pharmaceutical company, government program, or a prelude to a way to raise huge sums of money for a particular agenda.  This thinking and method of manipulating policies to create laws that are destructive to mankind is despicable and insulting to the intelligence of the general public.  All one has to do is look at the statistics to show that what is being done by these large corporations and government projects is just not working.  To promote more of the same insanity is not only ludicrous and insulting, but bordering on criminal negligence and fraud.

Once again, Big Money doesn't talk, it SCREAMS!  This Bill C-51 sounds like another such attempt of very small minded people that are driven by their pocket books and the desire for power that is very destructive to the good of the public.

The food industry, made up of large corporations that are interested in profit over health, has become rampant.  Many of the statistics showing the results of processed foods, medicines that not only do not work, but are being promoted as legitimate ways to treat disease, and doctors who have stopped the practice of health and become legal drug pushers promoting drug company kennel dogs that benefit with perks designed to promote the drug culture.  10,000 to 20,000 people max, last year died in America due to illegal drugs.  Yet, 106,000 people died last year in America due to Legally, doctor prescribed drugs to people in hospitals to treat a particular aliment that the death clearly could be traced by to the use of that drug!  Does that sound like a safe place to be when you are sick?  

To restrict the free flow of products that have been shown to be helpful and promote health is madness.  To put that into the hands of the same people that are approving legal drugs that kill people at a rate 10 times the rate of illegal drugs just doesn't make sense.  It is just another way to control money and power; it's not about health.  If it were, they should be putting the drug companies executives that allow these legal drugs that are killing people to be prosecuted.  But instead, they not only allow them to do business as usual, but give them money and more power to do more damage.  To allow control of vitamins and supplements can only be to allow the drug companies to have free reign over the public's ability to have a choice.  How many people died last year taking a vitamin?  106,000 died in America taking the legal drugs regulated by the same people that want to regulate vitamins.

And to say Doctors should prescribe vitamins is like having your auto mechanic tell you what you should do to fix your computer!  Doctors are not trained in nutrition, have any knowledge of what vitamins are and how they work, and really have no interest in learning about them.  For them to be put in charge of prescribing them is just simply ludicrous.

FREE spirit. Voting these jerks out of office is one way

to fight back. Try picking up a copy of Energy Times put

out for free by Baums natural foods it addresses the

bill C-51 you talk about. We need to form our own lobbies

to combate the big drug lords handing out precription

drugs ruining peoples lives. Why don't the ceo's,presidents

who run these drug agencies take their own drugs themseleves. They know they a bad for you!

Sadly it appears that our rights and freedoms are a poor match against greed and corruption.

In the best of all worlds, it would be nice to think that decisions as important as our health care were based on reason and compassion. Sadly, it just isn't true.

There is an organization in the USA that has long fought the battle against the politically motivated FDA other examples of such despicable behavior. The fight continues, but they have had some success, so far...I would urge people to take a look at www. lef.org. They have a way of organizing such efforts.
