Is this the most divisive election in history of this country?

RICH against POOR

MEN against WOMEN

OLD against YOUNG

WHITE against BLACK

PRO-CHOICE against PRO-LIFE

ENVIRONMENTALIST against OIL DRILLING

and so on...........

Every election has it talking points, but this one is really something for the "NESTY" books.

Are we more divided now than ever?

  1. I think you hit the nail on the head!  We now have racists trying to stop Obama from winning.  Sexists trying to stop McCain from winning.  Republicans trying to stop Democrats from winning and reverse that.  We are divided in just about every way that I can think of, thats not even counting the division on the issues.

  2. The far, far left sees their opportunity to take over the country with Bush's popularity so low. Its a scary and divisive tale that Obama spins.

  3. I don't see any of that!  xox

  4. Hum depends. America as been divided through history. It might look like all these people loved the Kennedys in the 60's, but people hated their radical views too.

As long as there are sexist and racists in the country, they will do anything to tear down any ideals that will make their s*x or color loose power. Its a threat to some folks' control.

Let's not forget the last election that Bush won highly over g*y marriage. There were even black votes for him just because some black people didn't believe in it. Do I think it was relevant to REAL issues? No.

In our history there's folks who embrace change and folks who hate it. Doesn't matter whether the change is good or bad for the country. Opposition's always heated when the economy is in a mess. Someone's always gonna be blamed and the blamed party is gonna fire back.

  5. Yes this election result will divide America.  Expect riots.  America could even plunge into another civil war over this election!

  6. on  some  issues  YES

  7. Thats what happens in a free country. Everyone has a say whether you like it or not.

unlike communist countries, any riots or strikes/protests are quickly stamped out.

  8. yeah, that's cos the dems have an extremist running for office.  I've never so fervently been against anyone in poli.  He scares me--his change is just plain creepy.  At least in years past we've had people who are more moderate in their views.  John Mc is moderate.  Obama is the MOST liberal person in senate.

  9. yes unfortunately we are and I only see things getting worse due to the Liberals not realizing their own errors with wanting to pull our soldiers out of this war.

  10. There have always been differences of opinions. The  main difference now is the Republicans that tell the  middle class "let them eat cake."

while they  take care of thier own.  No matter what class, color or creed that is thier stand.

  11. Yes. This is why I am tired of the Media saying that Obama will unite America. Neither candidate will unite America. When this election is over, one side is going to be upset.

  12. i hear the radical leftist leadership that has absconded the democrat

party of our parents and grandparents schilling this type of divisive

politics at every opportunity, so it's not that surprising!

  13. I hope that the Christian Right realizes there is a division within their own ideology.

As a Christian on the left, it dawned on me that it is completely hypocritical to choose a candidate based on the Abortion debate alone when the other party has Universal Healthcare on the platform.  Most people would agree that providing for the sick and protecting the weak and disabled is at the core of the Christian belief.

With a Democratically controlled Congress, we are more likely to actually get a Universal Healthcare bill passed, while an Anti-Abortion bill would never make it past one voting session.

  14. Yes, we are. It is the result of the Dems control in the last 2 years. Dems like their subjects to be confused and frustrated. It's called 'dumbing down the American public'. They think we are so stupid that we need them to take care of us.

  15. Yes I think we are. I was hoping by now we would be feeling happier. We need some healing but right now there is name-calling on both sides.

  16. Yes, and Barry along with some of his kool-aid kids have promoted ageism, sexism, class-envy and race-baiting.

He is the great divider rather than the great uniter.

  17. it feels like a tv show!!!! high school kids are probably having a better and normal election then we are .i give up.
