Are we ok singers? clip included?

Question

this is me and my friend singing a song "fyrokittygirl964" suggested for an alto voice "lips of an angel" by hinder.

what do you think, be honest... i dont care if its bad i want HONEST feedback. i know some parts sound crappy.

any tips for us? better song suggestion?

Well, I watched your video and I'm a singer who takes private singing lessons and so yeah. I think I can help. You look about my age. I'm 13. So here's your advice from me.

You sing with kinda a flat voice. You need to be able to reach to hit those notes. Tips would be to try these exserisise. Start low and say au ae ee oh ooo, and then progress to higher and higher till you've hit the top of your range and then progress lower and lower till you've hit the bottom of your range. That's what I do in singing lessons and It really builds up your voice, and makes it stronger to hit those really tough notes. Also, you should'nt worry that much because neither mine nor your voice has completely matured yet. Keep singing!

First of all.....The girl in the back ground had me laughing my a.. off eating grapes and squirting I dont know what in her mouth. LOL First Girl has a NICE voice, I think with practice you could get somewhere in life.
