well it depends. if your brother in law is really friendly and you're very close, then he is your brother. my dad and my moms bro. are great friends, their like the brothers they never had. but if they dislike each other, their just simply brothers in-law, related simply by marriage and know other relationship is there such as one of friendship.

Yes.  In a "real" family, you should love all of your family.  I love my brother in law as I do my brother.  We are a close family and do whatever we can for each other.  That's what family is.
