i am american but god they are lazy!

for example, last night my mom called the cable company to fix a certain channel on her DVR when the same exact channel was showing on the tv just one room over!

i was so mad at her i was like "mom, stop whining, it's not a big deal."

since technology is so advanced now we have to many whiners, i agree.

Seems like it.  In well-intentioned attempts to provide for children, we as parents give them everything on a silver platter - fostering high expectations and even higher self-esteem.  Thus, if something does not go their way, youth are more likely to complain.

Unfortunately yes, we as a society are no longer the nation on the free and the brave with freedom of speech... This nation has become the nation of the offended.....
