Seems as if English is falling into disarray. Maybe a new "Americana" language is needed. Take English, some spanish and some hiphop culture to form a language unique to this country and it's unhabitants who increasingly speak more and more unique variations of English.

Let everyone have input, what do you think?

  1. What you describe is probably going to happen anyway, with or without anyone's help.

If you look at the major European languages, that's pretty much what happened; imperial latin mixed with "vulgar" latin, tweaked up to fit in with regional dialects of whatever language happened to be spoken by the regular people, different ruling cultures came and went, and you end up with an incestuous mix of languages that are clearly related, yet completely different un many ways

If history is any guide, I think increasing numbers of spanish speakers will certainly make an impact, since the latino culture has very deep roots, but as for "hiphop", every decade or so, there's a whole new "hip" culture with it's own speech and dress and music, and all that tends to fade once that generation has their own kids who in turn would rather die than dress and talk like their parents did, so they come up with a whole new culture, and the cylce repeats

  2. Sounds like yiddish the combo of German and Hebrew.  You may be correct.
