  1. Don`t ask here stupid!!ask the scientist!!

  2. The 98% is also a little misleading, as it's based on really early genetics.  Recent studies have indicated that there are significant differences in the way some of those apparently identical DNA sections are ordered and arranged.  Still, most people estimate that we're well over 90% genetically similar to chimps.

Interestingly, recent studies have also shown that most of the genetic differences are the result on positive natural selection in chimps and not in humans.

Therefore, even using your original numbers, the extra 2% in humans is mostly older, predating the split between chimps and humans.

    No alien DNA.  Period.

  3. DNA is the common "language" of all bodies. So considering that, every species on the face of this planet has some "percent" relation.  The thing with evolution is that we didn't really "come from" chimpanzees. Although our DNA is very similar, it is because our most recent common ancestor was well... very recent. Human beings and Chimps just happen to be moving up a different evolution tree and in a couple more million years we probably won't be all that similar.

The only reason we don't share all of our DNA with chimps is because...we aren't chimps. If it were alien DNA, then that would have to mean every species has alien DNA. Although it is a theory that the basic units of DNA came from outer space, at this point it wouldn't really be considered alien. All thats different is a certain sequence of nucleotides that make up the genes for different features, such as the extra rib that chimps have, the longer face, the hunched over spine, or the rear-facing pelvis.

  4. It is more likely something like 95% different.  They didn't have the technology until recently to see very large insertions and deletions, a type of mutation.  There were fewer of those but since they were so large, the difference was greater than originally thought.

  5. Yes, and 100% gullible.

  6. Nope, chimpanzee and humans are all the same except but some nucleotides in the DNA pattern

  7. I suppose the aliens may have been brave enough to come to Earth before Humans evolved, since they know better than to come here now.

  8. There is 0% chimpanzee and 0% space alien DNA in humans, but 100% human DNA.  Monkeys, apes, chimps, orangutans are each a separate species; haven't met a space alien yet; and humans are completely differend in DNA from any of the simians.

They can tell from your DNA if you are male, female, black, white, yellow, brown or red or some mixture of these... But, completely different from any of the lower animals.

  9. No, but you are. ha. Just kidding.

  10. 98% is true...

    the other 2%..well, I don't doubt it's alien lol!

  11. Yes.

  12. Think about this. We (humans), cant be indiginous to this planet. We have no fangs, claws, fur, poison, scales, basically nothing to arm or protect us from nature. However we do have an intelligence that is unparalled. How? Read some Zecharia Sitchin books. you could learn alot.

  13. 98.4% shared with chimpanzee, and the other 1.6% is merely a result of evolution.

  14. It is not correct to word it that way.  We are not 98 per cent chimp any more than chimps are 98 per cent human.  We are equally related of course.  We share most of our DNA but we also share most (but not as much) with a cat.  There is not any evidence that our DNA is extraterrestrial.  That is just a wild theory IMO.
