i dont think that we indians are free yet.becoz evn 2day we are being ruled.the only difference is that 200 years ago brits used to rule us and now all the POLITICIANS are ruling us.

i dont know that why is india considered as the greatest democratic power,politics in india has become a matter of ''KURSI'' whether acquire it by hook or by crook.indians are not familiar with their rights so they do whatever they are told to do by the leaders of their respective region.in short these leaders and politicians are puppet masters and indians are the puppets........they sat history repeats itself.and thats what is happening.......INDIA IS UNDER RULE INDIAN RULE...

Depends how do u define freedom and the context.

A politician is truly free : he can s***w system and gets away with it.

Common is not so free: he can s***w another common man and get screwed by sytem
