    There are many things that hold us back and tie us down.

  3. No, we are not. We have built our own mental shackles of caste, creed, faith, gender, wealth, nation and son around. We must free ourselves from it by awareness and acting in accordance with it in daily life.

  11. We are free to make our own choices and live by the consequences of those choices.    If we want to stay in a job that goes nowhere, that's our choice.  If we want to risk all on a business start up, that's our choice, too.  

    The thing is OUR individual  freedom stops where the freedom of the masses begin.   We are not free to harm others.   We are free to help them, though, so long as they don't object to being helped.

  18. we r not free. in this world neither we nor any other living being is free.the world it self is not free it is controlled by somany cosmic forces.as per religious books even in other worlds too we r not free.more over the word free has no meaning atall..it is only a concept concerning to respective defferent fields...how ever generally speaking we are all free to some extent only.Rules of country,family,religion,age,s*x  every thing  limit our freedom..in fact the yahoo answers also had put some limitations on our answers.wher is freedom?

  19. 8 See my answer to the question about order out of chaos asked immediately after yours. Whatever we do we cannot go beyond the basic parameters that determine the actions of our universe. Beyond that are many limiting and enhancing factors relating to freedom. It really boils down to what you want to do with the circumstances you find.

  26. Freedom is a concept that is totally unique to America. But in a sense of being totally free, we will never be. Because of our differences and the human fear of things that are different from us or our community, we the free world will never quite be a free world.
