Are we really in a war on terror?

I hear people say that we started the terror war. Can any of you expand on just how?

this is just a moonbat theory to debunk the military and the Bush administration.  it serves Obama and his pinkhat brigade very well.  of course it falls flat when shown the light of day as there is no proof.

Check a dictionary. Terror is method of gaining advantage for your movement or group. A war on "terror" is a useful as the many "wars on crime" we've heard the politicians announce with regularity. Terror is a tool usually used by a militarily inferior opponent. The modern military uses the more accurate term, asymmetric warfare. As master Sun Tzu put it 2500 years ago; "be strong where the enemy is weak, and weak where he is strong".
