  1. Yep, news just came down that the so-called doc fee is maxed out at $75, just like they charge literal GM employees. Usually dealerships charge anywhere from $100 to $300 in doc fees.

  2. Yes, you may even get a better trade in price, because GM is trying to bring in new customers also.

  3. If you have a trade vehicle, sell it yourself and use the money as a down payment. Do not trade it at a GM dealer.

  4. yes you are, but you will not get more for your trade like someone else said. the employee price is so cheap chevy has to pay the dealer back when they sell one so the prices are set and the dealer doesnt make that much money, therefore they have to give you a wholesale number for your trade. they dont have extra room in the price of the new car that they can use to give you extra money for your trade. GM couldnt care less about selling of used cars, dealers are the ones that have to deal with that. Just letting you know what to expect, the price of a new chevy will be very very cheap, but you wont be happy when you hear what your trade is really worth. overall it usually works out better now, you probably wont get as much for your trade but the new cars are so cheap its worth it.

  5. Yes you are the dealers get paid by the factory when they have this promotion not the customers they get 5% of the actual invoice and the customer gets the great price. dealers still make money everybody happy except gm
