There are only limited genres and as far as I can tell with this **** I have been hearing on the internet, the modern world is becoming mindless and everything is starting to run together to sound the same. I have wanted to know if anyone else thinks the same. Is it possible that we will become so oblivious to new creations of music that we will have no more new lyrics or sounds? Ahhhhhhh its driving me nuts....

  1. i totally agree

  2. Music is becoming sterile..cause everyone wants to copy cat from other people...it becoming very much like everyone is getting  a one collective mind

Thats why i dont listen to popular music in the USA .i get all my cds from other countries because they dont worry about popularity they worry about talent and song structure and doing something different and thinkingoutside the box

  3. What made u think of that? there might be limited genres for this time but don't worry time will come there will be. there is a person who said that we already invented everything we can invent but do they have cellphones in that time? no they didn't. we haven't even invented a robot that really act like a real maid. well maybe we have asimo but is it available in the market like laptops? no it isn't.

my conclusion is we are not perfect. there is always a room for improvement and we don't know what's in other people's mind unless they say or show it. a poor kid might invent one if there is a person would give him or her a chance. just wait and we will see for yourself. do you think that the people in the 19th century have rap songs or etc?

  4. i agree!!! for the most part anyway. i lost faith in alotta music until i started listening to queens of the stone age. i dont listen to the radio anymore. just my ipod. f****n teenyboppers.

  5. I thynk artists been ran outta ideas for music. When you have songs about airforce ones, stunna shades, a girl kissin anotha girl, havin hoes in different area codes, etc etc you gotta know somethin it up.

  6. I agree with you.. People are too lazy to even be creative at this point! Music is definately not what it used to be and I believe the reason is because it is not about the love of the music anymore! Artists are just trying to make the top dollar. They are competing to see how many dollars they can bring in instead of how much quality is in the music that they present to the fans. Everyone wants to be a hard core rapper. We even have our singers trying to be rappers!

It is really sad and I would hate to see what type of music that my children are stuck with!

  7. We probably need to open more subjects in songs. Instead of country music always singing about their truck and their girlfriend/boyfriends and the rappers going on about "the club" and "gangster life" then we won't have that problem.
