  1. actually most animals show great pleasure during s*x, it's just they mating periods

Female birds only have to look at the celling two or three days a year, not every night like a human female

  2. It's moreso a natural 'drive' in other animals.  Bonobos have s*x for pleasure, but also in attaining staus.  It is a social act as well.  Most animals don't have the 'pleasure' associated with it- its just something they do because they are hormonally driven to do so.  They don't make a decision "I am going to have s*x to get pregnant."  On a subconcious level, they want to, and choose the mates with the best genes, but conciously, it is much easier not to have to bear and raise offspring.

Humans have this same drive, because pregnancy and birth are risky, uncomfortable and painful endeavors.  The drive to have s*x must override the desire to avoid pregnancy.

  3. I believe dolphins do too!

  4. Bonobos, a memeber of the ape family, have s*x for pleasure.

  5. dolphins

  6. I hope not... that would ruin my reason to be a horse in my next life... 'cause I'm not one now.

  7. I think most s*x is for pleasure...that is the motivation and reward we get for letting another (and possibly) dangerous animal get intimate with ourselves.

I don't think horses say, "I need a foal." I think horses say, "I notice you are in heat and I know you are feeling good..let's get together and feel better!"

Recognizing when the opposite s*x is sexually receptive causes arousal and that in itself is pleasurable. It is this pleasure, and the drive to extend the pleasure that gives an individual the courage it needs to approach another animal to attempt mating.

Perhaps you are suggesting that just because most other animals are only in estrus for short periods of time they pleasure is not a motivating factor?  I don't think that effects the drive to experience pleasure.

  8. no, bonobos too do and they actually do have oral, and homo s*x, they do so to reconcile and they also do so to show power and stuff, they are some interesting animals.

  9. I think pigs can have 30 min orgasms.  I don't know if they do it specifically for enjoyment - but I sure would!
