  1. actually yes.

  2. we are to blame atleast some what but it does not matter whe know it damages are health

  3. Yes it is our fault.Human Beings are responsible for this condition of our environment.

  4. There are no secrets cos there is no global warming ...the earth is in a cycle in fact we are heading for an ice age

  5. Yeah, the 2 ignorant bigots that answered first didnt go to school.

If sombody parked a car into your living room with the engine running while you were still in there the poisonous gases would kill you eventually. If people think that all the poisonous gasses that are released into the atmosphere arent doing anything to are plannet are just in denial because they are scared.

  6. 2 million years ago, this planet was hotter, so geologists tell us, then along came man and it cooled off, so paleontologists tell us.  Now it's warming up and it's all our fault, so the current green groups tell us.  I wonder when it will occur to people that our experts don't know everything and some have a tendency toward hysteria.  Yes, we should do our best to protect our planet.  Let's not get hysterical about it, just keep it picked up, not introduce too much into our water, food or air, and try to get along.  This may be a natural cycle.

  7. i think we mainly are.think about cars, factories things like that. they wouldnt have been here if it wasnt for us.us cutting down trees to make room for flats to be built,  and ruining animals homes.i do all i can to do my bit for the environment, i recycle,i dont own a car, all my lights in my home are energy efficiant and it makes me sad when i see people who dont care yet we put effort in to make sure we do.

Some tips on how to be good to

                                            the environment

take plastic bags with you when you go shopping so you dont have to use new ones-this may save you money as soon supermarkets will start charging you for every bag you use.

when you are out shopping make sure you GET FOODS WHICH ARE BRITISH as you know they havnt been shipped from other countys causing co2 emissions.(british food is no extra cost)

Going green is not hard.people think its alot of fuss but it really isnt!

so why dont you try it? go on, be green!

  8. My opinion is that it is a clever ploy by the government blaming us, when we pay them to sort it out!

  9. The global warming we are experiencing is not natural. People are causing it.

  10. Yes, but not completely. We pollute and stuff but its also the heat from the sun.

  11. yes mankind

  12. you better consult experts.that's a better way.

  13. " I have been known to light my farts whilst in the bath , does that count ?"

  14. ignore The Archfiend...!

he has failed to mentioned how parking the car in the room would contribute to global warming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    that is the point!

  15. Are we to blame for it? No. Global warming is a natural process that has been happening for centuries. Are we responsible for the pace of it recently? Of course.

  16. No we are not to blame for all of it, just think what the Volcano's are putting out rather a lot of it.  Waikupanaha on the 30th. June put out over 3000 tons of sulfa dioxide, it must have some effect too.  The world always goes thru these cycles but we should all help by recycling and switching off machines we don´t need.  Kids should walk to school, we did, groups could be arranged so that there was no danger to them.  When you live just a mile away from a shop walk and buy a little at a time, we do and I am 75.  We have put only 10,000 Kilo meters on our car in 4 years.  We use it when we have too only, it helps keep you healthy too.

  17. Human like us should be blamned when we talk about global warming. We did a lots of activities that are able to destroy the life of flora and fauna. Fauna absorbs the carbon dioxide in the environment and this caused the rate of carbon dioxide reduced. The lesser the rate of carbon dioxide, the chances for global warming to happen will be lesser. This is because we cut down the trees and caused the rate of carbon dioxide to increase and formed a layer that don't allow the heat from the sun to escape out.

  18. Rachie you are such a liar!!

you DO own a car i know you!!!!

( and you use it all the time !)

  19. it is partly us humans but also its a natural thing.so its a combination

  20. Not at all.

  21. The media sometimes has the answer, part of an article from a professor.

The human contribution is minor. The majority of CO2 in the

crustal atmospheric layers comes from volcanoes, earthquakes, pulling apart of the ocean floor, metamorphism, hot flushes of the Earth, ocean degassing, plant bacteria and comets, he explained.

Super volcanoes such as Toba, Yellowstone and Taupo have been the worst offenders. Just  one  volcano, Milos

(Greece), produces 2 per cent of the Earth's CO2.

  22. Well yes and no . Global Warming is a theory . Scientist believe that global warming could be a cycle. If Global Warming is caused by the rise in nirtogen humans are to blame because of all of the fossil fuels and polluting that we do . Plus watch the happening because it is about how the plants get upset at humans for causing global warming

  23. Look at the link George S posted but ignore his reasoning. Notice the link between greenhouse gases and temperature. Notice how, in the past 400,000 years the natural cycles have never had CO2 concentrations above about 280ppb. Now at the far left of the red graph look to see where the current CO2 concentration (put into the atmosphere by man) takes the red line (i.e. off the scale). The big question is: does the temperature difference follow CO2 concentration in the same way it has done for the past 400,000 years? I'm willing to bet that it will, largely because CO2 is a greenhouse gas i.e retains heat in the atmosphere - this is a law of physics particular to this molecule which not even the maddest ostriches (head in the sand) will deny.  The uncertainty in the science comes from by how much will it warm up and to what extent will the earth's natural systems react to buffer this change. Also, the earth systems take hundreds of years to get up to speed, but we humans expect to get answers today, leads to a lot of going around in circles.

Because there has never been such high concentrations in the recent past we cannot accurately estimate how the current arrangement of ecosystems, landmasses, oceanic and atmospheric circulation copes with such a large input in such a short time.

  24. Sure

    who else?

  25. It is mainly controlled by earth movement (wobble) cycles.  See http://www.exploratorium.edu/climate/cry...

That shows we are headed into a long ice age and it has nothing to do with us.  If we can hold it off with warming practices, better yet.  I doubt we have much affect no matter what we do.

  26. Not "we" but the majority who pollute have a fair share of the blame, as do those who force developing nations to pollute due to unfair trade

  27. Can I start my answer by stating that I firmly believe that the media would not know how to keep a secret, if they saw one. The problem here is not looking who to blame, the point is that there is a problem and what can we do about it. We have to accept that our scientists have different theories as to why we have this problem, and so in any situation where you have conflicting theorums, its advisable to listen to both sides of the argument and then come to your own conclusions. I have arrived at several conclusions, some based on my experience as an automotive engineer working in the emissions solutions field and some based upon my care and concern for our planet. The problem should not be left to our govrnments as they have a propensity to use issues like these as a political platform. Do we have the effect on the environment that some would have us believe, however whether we do or not we are suppose to be responsible people, and to deny that our actions have little or no consequence would be silly really. Planet earth is a very resilient object and would recover or cope with whatever we as race do, however can we survive what we are currently doing. This planet is our only home mess it up and where are we going. Acid rain is a direct result from automotive and industrial emissions, but we are currently employing scrubbers on industrial plants to reduce thier emissions, the automotive engine is now the cleanest its ever been with more improvements on the way (fuel cells are our future). Great emphasis is being directed towards aero engines. We can only lead by example and not by mandate, Its easy to just pop into the car, instead of walking or cycling, I accept the difficulties our physically impaired community, will have with this concept. We as a people (world population) have to reduce our emissions and become responsible, the melting of the ice caps will have an effect on the world oceanic currents via the elevator (not a lift) this effect may have long lasting and unknown results. As I have said the planet will survive but will we. However please take this on board 1940,s not a care as they were ignorant of any problem. 1960,s the worlds youth were clamouring for all sorts of changes, a lot of them environmental. 2001 people no longer willing to accept the abuse of the planet. 2008 world conferences on global emissions etc, mass debates, this being one of them. Change comes slowly, but change comes, I have a great faith and belief in the youth of the world to not accept established values and to challenge (peacefully)  governments of the world and to change things for the better.

  28. Yes. We are to blame. We took Mother Earth actually for granted. God created this for us to take care but what did we do? We wasted it. =(

  29. Yes we are all partly to blame for global warming because we don't balance economic progress and environmental condition. We used chemicals and processes that emits more gases that makes our greenhouse gases over the normal concentration. Our mountains are are treeless and  our garbage disposal systems are not acceptable.

  30. No but the media needs some one to blame and the funny thing is it is a lie and costing us millions. The more U propagate GW the higher the oil Co. can raise the price and feel justified.

  31. It's all your fault
