Question:

Are we wary enough against viruses spread in Yahoo?

Our friend has warned us that links given by two users, spinebp c and Hosicky M give you viruses.

I want to make the warning to EVERYBODY, so nobody clicks on the links given by these users. Please report them whenever you see such spam spreading users, so that we can discuss/argue in relative peace.

  1. thanks for the heads up.will do as you say.

  2. can some one put links to the user pages of these two/one moron(s) so I can block them

  3. I wasn't really aware about that danger , untill now..

I clicked on the link provided by the " Hosicky " troll, and then my firewall immediately detected a trojan horse type virus intrusion on my PC.

I coudn't do anything, as my screen was stuck .

So I was obliged to turn off my PC and re-start it again.

That might be a "common " hacker trying to get access to any kind of user on the internet ( passwords, banks datas, credit card numbers registrated on our PC's,etc ).

But that may be also an "enemy" who specifically targets Turkish people's PCs, in order to rob information and possible money from them...

This link allegedly leads to a video codec ( ii even mentions " answers-video"), but its purpose is only to enter your PC...

In one word, : a TRAP.

Arkadaşlar, bu tehlikeli link'e sakın tıklamayın...

( My friends, do not click on this dangerous link )

  4. It's more than just two users, it seems to replicate itself. Yahoo are aware of this problem but for some reason they are not doing anything about it. I have reported but the last time Yahoo ignored my reporting.

EDit; the virus is a trojan virus. My antivirus has dealt with it, but be real careful about opening links. If you don't trust the website, don't open it.
