Are white parakeets rare??

I have a white parakeet and i just want to know if they are rare.

If its eyes are red, that means it's an albino, in which case yes, it is pretty rare. But white parakeets with normal-colored eyes are fairly common; I see them in pet stores all the time.

If it's pure white, I would say yes. But I frequently see white ones with tinges of blue here and there in our local PetSmart.

White parakeets are not rare,you can also get Albino birds and in all cases these have Pink eyes if your bird is an Albino then try not to put it's cage in strong sunlight as this can upset it.

yes most pet stores list their keets under the lable rare or normal, an all white albino parakeet is rare. I go to pet stores all the time and look at private bird breeder sites a lot and I have only seen one online.
