Are white shades see through?

i want to get white shades for my room, but area they see through, and do they let a lot of light in?

No, but you can see a silouette. I would use a black out curtain also.

These don't look see through. They should be fine.

They are lined, so actual see through, I wouldn't think so.  Sillouette, maybe.  If you don't want even a silouette, go with a room darkening or blackout shade.  These will let some light in.
