Are wimbeldon tickets transferable?

im sure i read in a national paper recently wimbeldon will refuse entry to anyone trying to get in using tickets they bought online..is this true? and how will they know/check??? i ask as i see a few people are trying to sell tickets on auction sites and i dont want to buy any incase i turn up and arnt let in!!! please give as much detail as possible cheers
