Are women More Materialistic these days?

Isn't everyone?  materialistic and more to the point, lazy...when everything can be done on a computer at the tip of your fingers...men and women have become spoiled, lazy, and inconsiderate of others.

Depends on the man or the woman-lots of Americans are materialistic-they seem so obsessed with money and acquiring things. I see just as many greedy men as women-probably more men as more men are in the workplace trying to make a buck more than women are-some women still work at home taking care of their children.

Give me a break-neither men and women like being told they must have negative qualities-especially qualities that are gender stereotypes. You're obviously asking this question to get women upset-why do you assume the worst of women-guilty conscience? Makes you wonder why some men ask questions like why are women stupid; why are women obsessed with shopping; and why are women so selfish-do they hate all women or just the majority of women?

I would have to agree with that. With me its not a problem, but I kno i would be a liar if i said i didn't have any materialistic traits cuz i kno that i have a weakness for going to the mall and buying things that i don't necessarily need... Anyways i think materialism has corrupted EVERYONE these days...even kids.

Its hard to resist being sort of materialistic. I say "sort of" because I do not base my self worth on what I have, but heck its fun being female, we have a gigantic selection of goods and I never tire of shopping! LOL

Making own currency creates independance for all.

A question could be put to people which is why computer types work for others and not themselves when with degrees in graphic design and such they could design their own currency. Inequality blamed upon men but since tech available is it the fault of anyone.
