  1. In the U.S. women are forbidden to be involved in combat operations. BUt there is nothing that says that they can enter combat zones for non combat operations..such as transportation, medical or other non combat positions....they are trained in combat techniques though...just in case they find themselves in the situation.  There have been 109 deaths of women soldiers in Iraq from every branch of service.

  2. Yes there are some women piolets in the air force

  3. In the army, they are is support related field.  They do receive combat training though.  In the Air force it is similar as well.  They can be pilots, but I am unaware of being assigned to fighter or bomber wing.

  4. Army - Military Police

    USAF - Security Forces

Both career fields are open to females. Both career fields get assigned to combat zones.

So, if a female wants to be in combat, those are 2 career fields, same one different branches, that are available and can be in a combat zone.

  5. They are allowed in combat example Iraq and Afghanistan but not combat arms Example Special Forces and Infantry
