They are.  However, as the first poster notes, they are not going to have good n.e.c.c., but only a pallid ersatz.  

Similarly, women not in San Diego who order a taco elsewhere will have only some kind of crud folded into a tortilla, the thinnest taco-like veneer.  But I got a news flash for you:  Ketchup and horseradish do not a taco make.

I live in San Diego, but I am at present visiting in Boston.  I will not order a taco here, but I will gorge on the local snackies the quaint natives consume.  

Except for the ice cream; no true human being can possibly eat that much ice cream in a single sitting, however good it tastes.  And the bucket of clams is far too much for me.   Two or three clams, maybe.  After that, I start feeling walrus-like.

But they know how to make a pizza work here.  You wouldn't believe what passes for pizza in San Diego.
