Are women more capable than men of lying automatically without having to think about it, without realising it?

Is it possible that women don’t know when they ARE dishonest?

how do they do that?

Men know that we lie, when, how & why. right? right!!! yes we do...

No self aware creature is capable of lying without being aware of it.

Why? You have to actually construct a lie.

Neither men nor women have the upper hand when it comes to lying.

Some can't be proven, some are just missed as the signs that would signal it are well masked or not even looked for. And then again there are some signs so subtle that only your instincts or feelings would tell you its a lie.

There are some people that lie so much you will never know where to stand.

There are some that will never lie, but can be highly misleading, that's not lying but is dishonest.

By far the most effective way to lie automatically is to be so confused you don't have a *$%£!*% what the truth even is.

I don't know many women who could get close to you on that one.

(And neither of us know any women who would want to get close to you).

Certainly, but to be fair its usually for the benefit of somebody else rather than in a malicious way. Women tend to be be more agreeable with friends "yeah, i see", "yeah cool", "yeah thats nice" rather than being honest and just saying if they think they're being an idiot. Men have brutal honesty! Thats why they're so unformtable with the old "Does my bum look big in this" they want to say YES

I have no idea. I don't think it has anything to do with gender. Maybe some people are just naturally dishonest. Most of them know when they're lying. Most people know. Some people don't, but they are rare and can be of either gender.

Women are better and more convincing liars. I think men are less inclined to lie, and less inclined to tell serious lies. Women naturally have more of a wicked streak than men do.

Women don’t think its lying, as they are busy sparing someone’s feelings.

So they can lie automatically without having to think about it...without realising it ... without feeling guilty in any way, as at that precise moment they believe that they are telling the truth, and it serves a purpose....

If we then try to make them accountable for the words spoken, they will often say, “I did not say that”

We know that they did, but their words are meant to mean another thing, so there is the conflict and the misunderstanding between men and women

They claim high communication skills then need six other women to explain every thing they say. “What she meant was this or that.” lol

Men are straight to the point, which is why men tend to look to other men for an honest answer.

Women know as well as men about when we are being totally dishonest . We grow up living in a pretend world, which carries on into relationships; we will talk about honesty but mix-up our own feelings with what is real, and don’t see it as a problem

Women do however want to nurture and protect emotions so we tend to tell more white lies or sugar coat things more because if they make someone feel bad it reflects on our ability to protect which reflects on ourselves personally.

What that is about, is the ability to understand and face the consequences of ones own actions. Its about excepting what you do without looking for a person or a reason to take the blame for our wrongs…..

Women do know when their dishonest, but generally speaking women are very honest. Sometimes we will tell a lie to protect someone or to give someone confidence, nothing harmful.

On the other hand you do get women who do nothing but lie. Their fully aware they are doing it, but because they've become so used to it. It doesn't even strike a chord, so they just keep on lying until it gets to big for them to handle (the fabled "snowball" effect). Then it becomes automatic and then I guess they don't realise.



97% of women though are definitely not like that.

Women are more effective liars only because society teaches us that men always lie and women do not. People do not expect women to lie, therefore their lies are more effective.

Well we as women can say the same thing about men. I've had boyfriends lie to me, and later find out they where being unfaithful, or just didn't tell the truth about something. Both men and women have the tendency to be dishonest, if they're the type of people who're used to living their lives that way. You can't generalize and narrow lying down to one s*x. People of both sexes are guilty of this. I'm sure there was a time or two in your life where you told a little "white lie" without thinking about it. We all have.  

Edit: And what's the difference in having a reason to lie and just lying for the h**l of it? Either way it goes your wrong no matter what the reasoning for doing so may be. Why not just tell the truth and be honest with the people in your life, so this way there is no confususion or falt being found on your behalf.
