  1. Thats all they are.

  2. Well, you don't fall in love with a toilet when you use it, what's the difference?

  3. What! , for taking sperm from the bedroom to the bathroom..... oh bugger, I'm going to be in trouble now............

  4. Woteva.

  5. I agree with Rio Madeira

  6. They are vessels, I saw two white jugs just the other day!

  7. Don't believe the Koran it is written by just an ignorant man. Women are  have souls they have intelligence ,the are nurturing human beings yes they bear children and carry them for nine months, risked her life to bring out her child in this world. she sacrifice her life to love and care for her child until they are strong enough to live on his/her own. You don't think a vessel can do that ,can't you ?

  8. There ARE a lot of men who seem to want to believe that. I believe it stems from a deep-seated fear that men won't be needed by women any more if they prove to have abilities other than making babies. It dehumanizes women and shows men to be insecure little weaklings.

  9. Taken from the mindset of the perspective at the time written, then ~ that was perfectly valid ~ because it was the mindset of the perspective at the time written.

    Sash.

  10. i prefer calling them  goddesses, the king pin in a family

  11. You could argue that everyone is nothing more than a vessel > when we learn and grow, knowledge and information is poured into us and when we teach and share, we pass that knowledge on. In this way knowledge, information, as well as emotions such as love, hope, happiness, inspiration etc. are passed from one to another, vessel to vessel :-)

  12. Are men nothing more than turkey basters?

I'm sure that's in the Bible somewhere.

  13. of course the koran said it, being that that particular religion flourishes in patriarchial societies. the real question is, aren't we all merely vessels? Humans try to give such importance to their (well, our) race, yet who cares about the gender dispute? Does it really, honestly matter?

  14. yes...im a vessel for ramen noodles!

    yummy!

  15. I think the "DaVinci Codes" got a lot of mileage out of that allegory, too.

  16. That charge is answered fully in Antonia Fraser's book ' The Weaker Vessel ' should you care to peruse as a bit of light bedtime reading. lol!

  17. if that was the case women wouldn't exist just a bunch of wombs. the koran was written by men who were sexist like the bible and most other religions, it's just the way the world was then, we are lucky it is much better now.

  18. WOW sexist men scare me..

you do know that yout mother is a woman and she went threw pain to have you, right? it makes me sick when men are sexist against women.

REAL men aren't sexist against women.

  19. We are all vessels - in one way or another.

  20. Im glad im not muslim, but no.  since we have our own thoughts beliefs and opinions we are just as much human beings as men.  We create life and nurture it, and I dont know why muslim women dont simply raise their children in silence to respect women. they could change the belief system in the middle east over the course of a couple generations

  21. Okay I confess; for I am a vessel of Green Tea.

<hold hands out> You got me.

  22. they're also financial black holes.

  23. It is kind of true. Just an expression.

  24. It's surprising that a word of a religion could be this correct.

  25. Are men nothing more than a p***s????????????

This is from my own personal book of woman's experiences!

  26. Anatomically speaking - yes.

But then you could say that men are nothing more than sperm donors.

Neither view considers the big picture and how each gender contributes to the whole social structure of a community (global or local).

  27. we are not ONLY vessels, but life does flow through us.

  28. Whoever wrote it was prejudice and had an inferiority complex.

  29. Isn't the Koran full of beautiful "peaceful" things?? I wish I could be oppressed like that!! LOL

  30. Haha I wouldnt take it badly , I dont care what muslims think of women:D

  31. Well, maybe that's how the people who wrote the Koran saw it, but most of the world today sure doesn't.
