  1. No. Homosexuality is an inborn trait, regardless of what the Bible thumpers screech, and PCOS develops in adulthood.

  2. i have this but not the "syndrome" yes u get more testosterone but it would not explain your attraction to females. i would say you like them sexually anyway.

  3. As a L*****n with PCOS, I'm not quite sure why some of the reponses are so hostile to this question.  I personally think it's a legitimate and interesting question to ponder.

In 2003 a study was published by Dr. Rina Agrawal, deputy medical director at the London Women's Clinic, which found that the prevalence of PCOS was higher in L*****n women.

She said that the research "neither suggests nor indicates that PCO/PCOS causes lesbianism, only that PCO/PCOS is more prevalent in L*****n women. We do, however, hypothesize that hyperandrogenism, which is associated with PCOS, may be one of the factors contributing to the sexual orientation of women."

The researchers were quick to dismiss the thought that treatment for PCOS could be viewed as a "cure" for lesbianism.  Agrawal said, "In 1973 the decision to remove homosexuality from the list of mental disorders was made and since then the focus has shifted from the 'cure' of homosexuality to the physical and psychological health concerns of these individuals. We do not view lesbianism as a disease that is in need of a 'cure.'"

  4. No Dummy

  5. I don't know about wanting another woman but that PCOS is dangerous for women.  A pep smear every two years is a good idea huh.

  6. Of course not. The male hormones only prevent her from having babies. With hormonal treatment or the right diet, she can balance the male hormone and get pregnant.

I had PCOS a few years back, yet I still attracted to men (and not a bit to women), even married one of them.
