  1. More powerful than you think dear.

I would say that words are a translated thought, meaning, they represent the thought and idea built over time.

    Thanks for asking

  2. yes

  3. With only words can one create or vanish life..

It can make the weak so great and move the toughest..

Words are powerful as it conveys the passion of the soul from gentle to the most intensifying one.

  4. I have been cut deeply by words.

I have been moved to tears or laughter by words.

I have changed my life because of words.

    Words are so very powerful.

  5. h**l no!! (can i say "h**l")

  6. YES, ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, MOST DEFINITELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, AFFIRMATIVE, in another word "yep"!

  7. Words are still one of the most powerful things on the planet.

  8. Yes words are like the internet, they bring the world together.

  9. of course.  people sometimes say actions speak louder than words, but i can guarantee you that when someone says "you look really good today," or "i love you." it means a lot to them and sometimes just "actions" don't get the entire message across.

this guy told a girl a know that she's a freak and no one likes her. she cried and cried and cried and cried.  yes, words are very powerful.

  10. 1) This question is made of words.

    2) I stopped what I was doing to answer this question with words.

    Imagine living without words.

  11. They used to hurt me a lot but now I've evolved........

" Heavy metal can hurt my ear but words will never hurt me."

  12. What do you THINK? Yes.

  13. Words can be powerful, but it depends on who is saying them. Some of the most powerful words have lost there meaning because people throw them around like they're nothing. Love is a good example of this, people use it on a regular basis to define feeling's that are not of love, so saying the word when you actually feel it won't do it justice anymore.

  14. It depends what words. And on the situation. If you tell somebody you love them when they're studying for their exams or they're really angry at you then I don't think it will mean much. But if you're both relaxed and not distracted and in the mood "i love you" will mean more.

  15. I believe that actions speak louder then words.

  16. words are the most powerful wepon we have against each other so yes they are still powerful because you can downgrate someone so much they kill themselves trying to become what is perfect when all they needed was to be themselves ( tell me if you like that answer

  17. absolutely

  18. Thinking about it, the answer is more obvious then it seems, but not as easy to explain. With things going on words in many ways mean nothing. If somebody does a crime like killing some one. Telling them not to do it and even trying as hard as you can to enforce it in their brains can do absolutely nothing. Words are important, definitely, but they aren't always powerful. Yes, it's close to impossible to imagine a world without words but think about it, imagine a world with no actions either. Words cause frustration, happiness and every other emotion. It also causes action. So I like to think about it like this; No words=no actions. No actions=no words

  19. Depends. If you are referring to can they hurt someone..yes. Words can be as hard as a fist....

  20. Now the game is about WORDS, so they are powerfull.

  21. sure!

  22. Always.................. Wow I sound cheesey!

  23. What do you mean still? It is appearant in our society that the power of a word can crush or lift spirits. Don Imus pissed off all these people by calling a stupid basket ball team nappy headed hoes.. Was it true? Who cares? Jesse jacksons crazy black a$$ threatend to cut Obama's nuts off! That was pretty....wait, they havent made a big deal about it. Not even as much of a big deal as opposed to the attention Imus got..

Must be certain people get away with things easier.

If words arent powerful then the word N*gger shouldnt bother anyone here one bit. Wrong... (sorry for using the N word just wanted to make a point)
