  1. Getting greener by the day.  I have about a dozen CFLs in the house and keep the thermostat down.  I just started composting kitchen and yard waste this week.  I plan to stop using chemical fertilizers this year.

  4. No I'm not "green" and neither is anyone who uses a clothes dryer.  And what "difference" does it make other than improving someones profits?

  5. i was raised to recycle..it's just common sense.  but what gets me is how  that "common sense " has been subverted to be a "movement" thats utterly gone awry.

    green/ always have been always will be.  as will my children.

    this is what happens when your parents  were born during /jsut after the  depression. you learn to make the msot of what you have and  not waste.

  6. No and neither are you.  In fact the only people in the USA that are "green" are the Amish and Mennonites, and they don't even realize it.

  10. Yes, I use passive solar to heat our house.  I open the blinds on the South side of the house during daylight.  I have a CitiCar, it's electric (not hybrid).
