  10. Yes , i am proud to be an Indian, citizen of the country

which is the largest democracy in the world.

secular countr where every person is treated with equality.

i am proud to be the citizen of this country which has great heritage and culture.

i am proud to be the citizen of this country which gained self reliance within a few decades even after two centuries of foreign domination.

  11. well. I'm not indian, so i can't answer that. But for the other people who said yeeeeaaaahhhh, that's not because they are embarassed of being indian. They just find it weird or someone to ask that sort of question. It sort of puts them on the spot.

  12. not so much really, i'll give you three guesses why

  13. Well,

I am proud to be and Indian and always will.

But on the other side, the society is getting liberal day by day and everyone including you and me are (deliberatly or not) trying to follow western culture atleast in some aspects.

We always want to wear cloths with International brands , which we think thatits a matter of prestige. We are attracted to things with are made outside India. Why is it so? So there is no point in blaming other if that think its embarassing.

Also, the govt is playing a major role in it. Everyone is busy with  gowing their money and majority of them is not at all bothered about the people who voted them and beleived them. So what shd an Indian expect even after all this? Everything is corrupted..................

Inspite of all these..I am very proud to be a Indian by all means. This is the only country where we can find diff: culture, Diff. languages, Diff: beleifs, diff: releigion and despite all this we live together..........

    Jai Hind.
