  1. a lot of people do complain about ebay but you have to keep the frustration away because it is the only available successful market as of now.

  2. If you want to be a member of a club, you have to abide by the rules.  Just because it's legal doesn't mean that eBay want to be associated with it.  And if PayPal are going to have to reimburse your customers if you do a runner, they need to know they can get their money back from you.

  3. With paypal, Yes.

It took forever for them to even recognise me,to set up my account.

I have not as yet sold anything on Ebay,

Though I have spent a Fortune buying.

  4. I stopped using it ages ago, got fed up with the Nigerian scammers, ebay put no effort into stopping them.

  5. No. I am thinking of buying a game of Ebay though, and I need some help...

  6. yes its hard to find a bargain

  7. At the end of the day eBay needs to amke money too ... I bet they have their own research on what to sell or not - depending on lucrativeness and legality.

What did you to try to sell though...anything specific got removed or was it random?

  8. YES!!

  9. Yes

  10. I'm an ebay seller and I think the thing that gets me the most is the fees, in fact I've just got myself a job so I don't have to sell on ebay any more...

  11. No

  12. I dont use it much - but I havent had a problem with it yet..

  13. ebay is becoming a haven for scams most people bid on there own items for sale just to make you pay more.

  14. I stopped selling on ebay over a year ago, still do occasionally go back to buy.

By the time I paid my listing fees, end of value fees, paypal fees etc I made a loss. I couldn't raise my prices any higher otherwise my items wouldn't have sold (too much competition).

I have had more success with other sites though.

Just google online auctions, there's loads of online auction websites out there the now, some good, some need more marketing and some that just aren't worth it.

If ebay were to see more members leaving to join the competing websites they may take the hint and lower fees.

  15. I love eBay.

It did p**s me off however when something I was bidding on was removed! >:0

  16. I have 1 answer for you my friend

Get rid of ebay and don't use them again.

    I use / Best-Bid UK - www.best-biduk.com

They let you list whatever you want (within reason like NO pirate dvd's etc) and instead of removing the item THEY ASK YOU FIRST, and instead of using paypal use Google Checkout 100 times better and reliable.

Also Best-Bid UK give you chances and dont suspend you for sh*t like ebay do.

I hate ebay and find this new auction site 100 times better!!!!
