I lived in Michigan for 5 years.

My son lives in the Saginaw, Midland, Bay City region.

We love hockey.

The OHL Spirit play in Saginaw and the re-invented Toledo Walleye will resume play in the ECHL in October 2009.

I now reside in Toledo. (Walleye???....I know.....I have lobbied to name the mascot "One-Timer".....otherwise they'll come up with "Wallie").

I'm in the heart and soul of Leaf Nation but I live and breath Detroit...like them or not, you have to give credit when credit is due.

They did win the cup this year and they have the best front office in the league bar none...it's pretty hard to argue with that.
