  1. i'm a monarchist

jeez, blair was bad enough.would you want him as president ?

what would you replace it with ?

    works fine for me

  2. Royalist absolutely. One doesn't have to like the incumbent but to remove the concept of family and continuity from politics degrades society. After all - what's so modern about a republic? The Ancient Greeks and the Romans were all republicans initially. Elections suck; hereditary has something going for it. An American writer some years ago compared the relative merits of English monarchs with US presidents and came to the firm conclusion that the English monarchial system produced the better leader.

  3. Most definitely a Royalist !!  all those that call for a republic because the royals cost as so much , even although it is only pennies per day each . It would still cost the same amount to support a republican head of state and all the trappings that are appropriate to the role . And God knows who might get elected when money could dictate the successful candidate .

  4. I love the Royal family..I always have. I'm proud to be English.

I'm also thrilled to hear of the new royal birth today..its nice to have happy news.

  9. another parasite was born today.

  10. republican..  i cant stand the 'royal' family.. they're not even proper english!

  11. Living in Canada.....of course I'm royalist :-)

  12. republican.  it doesn't have to be as s**t as the us.  a large proportion of that comes from their adherence to evangelical christianity.  the current royal scum are just the latest in a long line of robbing, murdering bully boys that have imposed themselves upon the true people of these islands over centuries.

the cost of the royals is no great concern.  it's the principle.  i would see them stripped of their influence and privilege as a gesture of compensation for the wealth and lives they plundered over centuries.
