  1. Yes, I am Spanish (from Navarre) and both my parents are from this region.

  2. Zamora from a town and a province, both of the same name in Castile-Leon, Spain.

  3. my last name Montiel is spanish..theres actually a city in spain near the border of france where most Montiels originate

and my moms maiden name is aguilar which is also spanish

  4. yes, my parents are spanish from Benicarló a village in Castellón de la plana, a city in the Comunidad Valenciana.

  5. Yes. I'm from Puerto Rico and the majority of the people have Spanish blood and names. My family in the side of my father came from the Canaries Island (Isleños) very common at the end of the 19 century. In terms of my mother I really don't know but I believe they are descendants of Asturians.

  6. Yes, my great great grandfather was Francisco Manzanares from Manzanares El Real near Valdepenas in Castilla, Spain. Apparently there was a dispute over property (there is a castle called Castillo de Manzanares in the village so maybe it was that property!?) and he left Spain for Palermo, Sicily where he married my great great grandmother who was Siculo-Albanian (Sicilian born of Albanian ancestry), there grandson was my grand-father Francesco who married an English woman, Emma, my grandmother, who's daughter Maria Grazia married my father who is half Welsh and half English.

Quite interesting, even if I say so myself!
