Trendy apartment in a cool city with great restaurants, shopping and nightlife...or...cozy country home with acres of property, great views and lots of peace and quiet?

this is hard for me, i was raised as a down home country girl but i have always wanted to get out there. this summer i spent a month in europe and absolutely loved it. but while i was there i realized how much i loved back home where i could ride my fourwheeler and just hang out with my friends. so i think for me i would like to live out in the country but not totally isolated from society.

I have lived in the country since I was six. So for 7 years I have and always will love the country life. I mean don't get me wrong city life could be okay but I personally prefer country!

Unfortunately I'm a country boy living in the city.  Born and raised in the country, but moved to the city for work. You know the saying though, you can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy.  :)

I've lived in both places (and some places in between), and have discovered that I much prefer the country.

Wide open spaces; stars in the sky; trees and wild grasses; wild animals; and empty spaces as far as the eye can see. That's very important for the human psyche.

One time, I interviewed a dozen people who lived in a busy factory town in Japan. I asked them, what they would most like to see, out of anything in the world? Half of them said they wanted to see a horizon!
