Are you a college student with an Ipod Touch?

I will be going to college next year (I am a senior '08 - '09), but I was thinking about asking for an Ipod Touch for Christmas because I want one, but also because I think it might be helpfull in college. If you are a college student with an Ipod touch, do you think it is worth getting one? Has it been useful?

If you're just looking for a good music player, the iPod touch is suitable. Sometimes I like to record lectures and later listen to it in my iPod or maybe watch a movie secretly behind my bag when the lectures get boring (: P). There is even an App Store where you can download applications, where many can assist you with your college life, such as notepads, organizers, flashcards etc. However, I'd personally go for the iPhone. First of all, it comes with a microphone anyway so you can directly record lectures (with the proper software). It's also like the iPod touch + phone feature which lightens the load you have to carry around.
