  1. Both...and so are you.

Frankly, I've never paid attention to what politicians are calling me.  They probably wouldn't like what I call them either.

  2. both

  3. I'm both; officials also call me a veteran, senior citizen and a number of other descriptions.

  4. I'm a full time citizen that also consumes.  Being a consumer isn't a bad thing.

  5. its called dehumanization to refer to someone in terms of what they do rather than what or who they are.  the dominating construct in the world today is Corporatism, not capitalism (which really isn't a social construct at all.  It would be like calling something moneyism.)

To call us consumers reinforces in us the idea that it is our role to play our part in the economy, and that is more important than our role in our democracy as citizens.

This is not accidental, or unintended and even in schools the goal of education has shifted from education of a citizenry, to skills mastery of strictly job related information.

  6. If not sarcasm then agree reject Human Supremacist labels. To protest against such spend all Beer, Entertainment,Fast Food money on  Solar Power or U.N.  Let the Big Gulp come from the other direction when  falling profits are seen.Suicidal Greed Global Warming gone as well as Consumer label
